The City of Millington, Tennessee solicits Sealed Bids for the North Water Treatment Facility-Abandonment and Closure of 6 Raw Water Wells in Millington, Tennessee. Bids will be received at City Hall, located at 7930 Nelson Road, Millington, TN 38053, until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and opened immediately thereafter.

The work consists generally of abandonment and closure of six existing raw water wells of varying depths in the area surrounding the City’s existing North Water Treatment Facility and all necessary and appurtenant work required to complete the work as described in these specifications.

All Bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of construction described herein, as required by Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 6.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the City of Millington, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total of Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. The City of Millington, Tennessee solicits Sealed Bids for the North Water Treatment Facility-Isolation of Existing Raw and Finished Water Lines in Millington, Tennessee. Bids will be received at City Hall, located at 7930 Nelson Road, Millington, TN 38053, until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and opened immediately thereafter.

The work consists generally of isolation and or disconnection of existing finished and raw water lines that currently connect to the City’s existing North Water Treatment Facility such that no physical connection of this facility will exist to the City’s existing water distribution system. Included in this work will be the excavation of existing lines, installation of insertion valves as required, piping, fittings, demolition and/or removal of existing piping, blocking, restoration , and all necessary and appurtenant work required to complete the work as described in these specifications.

All Bidders must be licensed contractors to perform the type of construction described herein, as required by Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 62, Chapter 6.

The City of Millington, Tennessee solicits Sealed Bids for the North Water Treatment Facility-Demolition of Two Underground Reservoirs in Millington, Tennessee. Bids will be received at City Hall, located at 7930 Nelson Road, Millington, TN 38053, until 2:00 PM local time on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and opened immediately thereafter.

The work consists generally of demolition of two existing potable water storage reservoirs, one having a 500,000 gallon capacity, and the other with a 300,000 gallon capacity. Each of these reservoirs are constructed of reinforced concrete roof slab, walls, and bottom slab, interior columns, and interior masonry block weir walls. Each reservoir has several pumps, motors, electrical control panels, and ancillary piping that will have to be removed and disposed of, backfilling of each demolished reservoir with suitable backfill material, site restoration, and all necessary and appurtenant work required to complete the work as described in these specifications.
