2.        That counsel for the Petitioner intends to amend the original petition to include additional allegations concerning Travis Horn.

3.        The DCS FSS caseworker has updated the Court regarding ongoing work with the family, including a case service request to HealthConnect for counseling services for the minor child, and an additional case service request for assessment of the need for additional counseling services for the minor child and family.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED:

1.        That the request for continuance is hereby GRANTED.

2.        That counsel for the Petitioner is authorized to amend the original petition, and file a Motion for Publication.

3.        That DCS FSS sha11 continue to work with the family, including an additional case service request for assessment of the need for further counseling services for the minor child and family.

4.        That no party, caretaker, or individual is permitted to use corporal punishment as a form of discipline against the minor child at any time.

5.        That this matter is hereby CONTINUED to March 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., for a final report and further proceedings.

FY26 STREET PAVING PROJECT

Bids must be in one sealed envelope with statement thereon "BID ENCLOSED, FY26 STREET PAVING PROJECT” and be submitted to the receptionist at the City of Lakeland, Tennessee 10001 U.S. Highway 70, at or before the above stated time. Bids will be opened publicly, read aloud, and tabulated by the City Manager, or his or her Designee, at the above stated time and place, unless an alternative site is designated in writing prior to the time of Bid Opening. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for opening thereof. The City of Lakeland, Tennessee reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding; provided, however, that any bid received after the time specified or without accompanying Bid Guaranty, as stated below, will not be considered.

Before the execution of the contract, the successful Bidder shall furnish, pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated § 12-4-201, a Contractor’s Labor and Materials Payment Bond in a determined sum of no less than 25% of the bid price. The bond shall be made upon the form provided by MLGW in this packet and shall be made part of the Contract Documents. Such surety shall be acceptable to MLGW.

All contract bonds shall be written through a surety company duly authorized to do business in Tennessee.

No bidder may withdraw a bid for 120 days after the date and hour set for the opening of bids.
