The American Job Center – Tennessee in Memphis is holding a College Graduate Career Day Thursday, Jan. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at its Hickory Hill location, 4240 Hickory Hill Road. The Arc Mid-South will host a self-advocacy brunch and discussion forum for individuals with disabilities Friday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Benjamin L. Hooks Public Library, 3030 Poplar Ave., meeting room C. Local individuals with disabilities will discuss how they overcame obstacles and affected policy issues by engaging in public advocacy. The Memphis Grizzlies host a Grizzlies Beer Tasting Night Friday, Jan. 26, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. before the Grizz play the Los Angeles Clippers at FedExForum, 191 Beale St. Packages, which start at $42, include a game ticket, pregame sampling of microbrews and commemorative pint glass. Memphis Botanic Garden and Artists’ Link host the Incognito! Art Soiree and Silent Auction Friday, Jan. 26, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MBG, 750 Cherry Road. Buy your favorite painting for $250 during “Buy It Now” time from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Silent auction begins at 5:30, with galleries closing at 7:15 and 7:30.
