An Operation KidSafe Regional Child Safety Day will be held Wednesday, May 17, from noon to 7 p.m. at Principle Toyota, 7370 Winchester Road. The program uses specialized devices to capture a child’s picture and fingerprints. Parents are given a printout they can provide law enforcement to aid in an investigation; no records are kept on file. Visit principletoyota.com for details.

Sierra Club Chickasaw Group will host a Memphis 3.0 Comprehensive Plan update presentation Thursday, May 18, at 5:50 p.m. at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Ave. John Zeanah, deputy director of the Memphis and Shelby County Division of Planning and Development, will discuss an overview of Memphis 3.0, the key findings so far, and a summary of community input received to date.
