Agape North will hold a pop-up shop style party Tuesday, May 16, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at its office, 2132 West St. The party will feature food trucks, live music, live screen-printing and outdoor games, plus the cause-based clothing company will reveal new apparel, including a design inspired by Maya Clark, a Collegiate School of Memphis student and the winner of Agape North’s first T-shirt design contest. Memphis Women in Film and the Memphis Area Women’s Council will host an “Equal Means Equal” documentary screening Tuesday, May 16, at 6 p.m. at the National Civil Rights Museum, 450 Mulberry St. The film follows real-life stories and precedent-setting legal cases in an unflinching look at how women are treated in the United States today. An Operation KidSafe Regional Child Safety Day will be held Wednesday, May 17, from noon to 7 p.m. at Principle Toyota, 7370 Winchester Road. The program uses specialized devices to capture a child’s picture and fingerprints.
