Memphis Area Legal Services, the Memphis Bar Association and the Access to Justice Committee will host a free legal advice and counsel clinic Saturday, July 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Ave. Volunteer attorneys provide free legal assistance on a first-come, first-served basis the second Saturday of each month. Visit malsi.org.

Girls Inc. of Memphis will host a Google ‘Made With Code’ coding party for girls ages 13-18 Saturday, July 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Girls Inc.’s administrative offices, 910 Vance Ave. Videos and activities will highlight the importance of coding and how it connects with girls’ everyday lives. Germantown Community Library will continue its Egyptology 101 series for adults and teens 13 and older with “Egyptology 101: Egyptian Mummies,” Monday, July 10, at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 1925 Exeter Road.
