The Metal Museum will kick off its 2017 Whet Thursday series April 6 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 374 Metal Museum Drive. Attendees can tour the museum and grounds, watch a metalsmithing demonstration, and enjoy food trucks, cash bar and live music. Cost is free. Visit metalmuseum.org.

The Super Chevy Show auto show kicks of its 2017 national tour Friday through Sunday, April 7-9, at Memphis International Raceway, 5500 Victory Lane in Millington. The show will feature drag racing, a professionally judged car show, a nonjudged “Show ‘n’ Shine,” an automotive swap meet, a pro show with jet cars and wheelstanders, and more. The Memphis Hightailers Bicycle Club and Church Health will hold the annual Charles Finney Memorial Ride on Saturday, April 8, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. starting at Lakeland Outlet Mall, 3569 Canada Road. Choose from 21-, 47-, or 63-mile routes; proceeds from the ride will fund a day of service at Church Health. Register at memphishightailers.com.

Relay for Life of Memphis, benefiting the American Cancer Society, will be held Saturday, April 8, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Tiger Lane outside Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium, 335 S. Hollywood St. The block party-style event, themed “Hope is Made in Memphis,” will feature live music, Memphis’ Got Talent show, beer station, activities for all ages, and more.
