A Crosstown Concourse job fair will be held Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Central Atrium of the Concourse, 1350 Concourse Ave. The fair will feature 15 tenants looking to fill more than 60 positions in a range of fields, including health care, arts, operations, retail and security. The Arc Mid-South is sponsoring an “I Matter” conference that focuses on the legal options young people with disabilities have during their transition into adulthood Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the University of Memphis’ University Center River Room, 499 University St. Cost is $25; on-site registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Visit thearcmidsouth.org for details and online registration.

Bookstock 2017, the Memphis Public Library & Information Center’s free annual author festival, will be held Saturday, April 29, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Ave. The family-friendly event will feature 40 local authors, arts and crafts for kids, a fashion show featuring book characters, food trucks, live music and more. Alzheimer’s & Dementia Services of Memphis will host its 12th annual trivia night and silent auction Saturday, April 29, at 6 p.m. at Temple Israel, 1376 E, Massey Road. The festivities will also include a costume contest, wine pull and more. Visit adsmemphis.org or call 901-372-3585.

Playhouse on the Square’s 40th annual Original Art Auction will be held Saturday, April 29, at Playhouse, 66 S. Cooper St., with an all-day silent auction culminating in the live auction at 6:30 p.m. More than 150 professional artists are represented – along with drinks, eats and a full cast of characters. Dance Theatre of Harlem will perform Saturday, April 29, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 30, at 2 p.m. at The Orpheum, 203 S. Main St. The performance features four pieces curated specifically for Memphis audiences. Tickets start at $25. Visit orpheum-memphis.com. 

The Metal Museum will hold an opening reception for “Implements of Grandeur” Sunday, April 30, from noon to 2 p.m. in the museum store gallery, 374 Metal Museum Drive.
