Christian Brothers University and The Rotary Club of Memphis East will host the 2017 CBU-Dunavant Public Service Symposium Tuesday, April 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Montesi Executive Center at CBU, 650 East Parkway S. The 14th annual Dunavant Public Servant Awards luncheon, co-sponsored by The Rotary Club of Memphis East and The Daily News, will be held Tuesday, April 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hilton Memphis, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd. Awards will be presented to Collierville Mayor Stan Joyner and Memphis Public Library & Information Center director Keenon McCloy, and U.S. Sen. The Benjamin L. Hooks Institute African-American Male Initiative Symposium will be held Wednesday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. in the University of Memphis’ University Center Bluff Room, 499 University St., room 304.
