Stax Museum of American Soul Music will continue its Motown Film Series with a screening of “The Mack” on Monday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. at the museum, 926 E. McLemore Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; admission is pay-what-you-can at the door. Visit staxmuseum.com for details and a film series schedule.

Memphis Botanic Garden will wrap up the 2016 Vine to Wine series with a “Spooky Spirits” themed tasting on Tuesday, Oct. 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MBG, 750 Cherry Road. Geeked Memphis will host the Memphis screening of “She Started It,” a new and empowering documentary following five female entrepreneurs, Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Malco Studio on the Square, 2105 Court Ave. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s producer and director, Nora Poggi, and Thuy Truong and Sheena Allen, whose stories are featured in the film. Leadership Memphis will host its ninth annual Multicultural Breakfast on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 7:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Kenneth S. Robinson, president and CEO of United Way of the Mid-South, will present the keynote. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased at eventbrite.com through Monday, Oct. 24.

Talk Shoppe will meet Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the University of Phoenix’s Memphis campus, 65 Germantown Court, first floor.
