The fourth annual Jewish Literary and Cultural Arts Festival kicks off with author Jonathan Safran Foer on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at 8 p.m. in the Memphis Jewish Community Center’s Shainberg Art Gallery, 6560 Poplar Ave. Visit jccmemphis.org/LitFest for a details, tickets and a festival schedule.

Creative Aging’s inaugural Senior Arts Series wraps up Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 1 p.m. at Theatre Memphis, 630 Perkins Road Extended. This performance for seniors and their guests will feature The Side Street Steppers and The Beverly Brothers, and will include a special salute to veterans. Tickets are $5 cash or check at the door.
