Tennessee Small Business Development Center will host a workshop on government contracting Thursday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Renaissance Business Center, 555 Beale St. The University of Tennessee’s Procurement Technical Assistance Center will teach small-business owners how to successfully compete for government contracts. Mid-South Association for Financial Professionals will meet Thursday, March 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Regions Bank, 6200 Poplar Ave. Rene Bustamante, staff VP and assistant treasurer of global cash management for FedEx Corp., will present “How to Become a Strategic Treasurer Organization.” Register at midsouthafp.org.

Malco’s Ridgeway Cinema Grill will host a Greek-inspired wine tasting, coinciding with the release of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2,” on Thursday, March 24, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the theater, 5853 Ridgeway Center Parkway. Sample red and white wines, Greek-themes hors d’oeuvres and seasoned olive oils. Admission is $10; donations for the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County will be accepted. SRVS Kids & Families will host the 20th annual 5K Bunny Run and 1-mile Family Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, March 26, at 9 a.m. in Cancer Survivors Park, 701 Perkins Road Extended. Registration begins at 8 a.m. The event includes a visit by the Easter bunny, egg hunt, music, food trucks and more. Visit bunnyrun.racesonline.com for registration fees and information.

T.O. Fuller State Park will host a 5K run Saturday, March 26, at 9 a.m. at the park, 1500 W. Mitchell Road. A free 1-mile fun run and walk for children accompanied by adults will begin at 10 a.m. Afterward, children 13 and younger can explore the area during the annual Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. Cost for the 5K is $15. Memphis Botanic Garden will host its annual family egg hunt on Saturday, March 26, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at MBG, 750 Cherry Road. The event will include age-friendly areas, live music and magic, and a 96-acre hunt with prices for the adults as well.
