Tenth annual Belvedere Chamber Music Festival will take place Wednesday through Saturday, June 15-18, at Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 1720 Peabody Ave. Concerts start at 7:30 each night; Thursday will also include a 3 p.m. concert. Visit belvederefestival.org for details.

Memphis Slim House will present “The Spirit of African Music: An Immersive Musical Experience for All Ages” Thursday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at 1130 College St. Memphis musicians will lead guests through the roots of music via a hands-on workshop and performance for the entire family, with a special focus on young learners. Memphis Area Transit Authority will celebrate “Dump the Pump Day” in Memphis by giving away door prizes on Thursday, June 16, from noon to 2 p.m. at the William Hudson Transit Center, 444 N. Big Wig Ball 2016, benefiting Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, will take place Friday, June 17, at 7 p.m. at Annesdale Mansion, 1325 Lamar Ave. The “all VIP” ball includes upscale food and cocktails, live music and more.
