Pinnacle Financial Partners Adds to Memphis Team
By Andy Meek
The team launching Nashville-based Pinnacle Financial Partners’ expansion into the Memphis market is getting bigger.
The bank has added another three in Memphis, bringing the total so far to 11. The new additions – Rick Neal, Richard Harris and Nicole Pickens – come from Trustmark Bank, Paragon Bank and First Tennessee, respectively.
Neal started his career at First Tennessee. Most recently, he was at Trustmark leading the company's commercial real estate group. With Pinnacle, he'll focus on corporate and commercial clients as he helps develops Pinnacle’s commercial and industrial business in Memphis.
Harris, meanwhile, comes from serving as vice president and relationship manager for Paragon Bank’s commercial banking group. He also is a First Tennessee veteran, and his role with Pinnacle is senior vice president and credit advisor.
Finally, Pickens brings a 13-year career with First Tennessee to her role of financial adviser assistant with Pinnacle. She joined First Tennessee in 2002 as a financial services representative.
Pinnacle announced its entry into Memphis in April via its acquisition of Memphis-based Magna Bank. It simultaneously announced the early fruits of staffing up in Memphis, which included bringing over a team of eight professionals from First Tennessee headed up by former First Tennessee executive vice president Damon Bell.
