The Metal Museum will exhibit “A Kind of Confession,” showcasing critical and contemporary metalwork from African-American artists, Saturday, June 20, through Sept. 11 at the museum, 374 Metal Museum Drive. Visit metalmuseum.org.

Memphis Juneteenth Urban Music Festival will be held Friday, June 19, through Sunday, June 21, in Robert R. Church Park, at Beale and South Fourth streets. The festival will feature live music, car show, kids zone and more. Hours: Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday noon to 10 p.m. Admission is free. Operation Crosstown, a Church Health Center initiative, will host a community event to activate the Crosstown Fitness Park at North Cleveland Street and Overton Park Avenue Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Volunteers are invited to help construct and install games and fitness equipment and help paint the mural at Midtown Crossing Grille, 394 N.
