Memphis Botanic Garden will continue the 2015 Vine to Wine tasting series with “Viva la Vino! Italian Wines” Tuesday, July 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MBG, 750 Cherry Road. The Metal Museum will host a reception for “A Kind of Confession,” an exhibition of critical and contemporary metalwork from African-American artists, Friday, Aug. 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the museum, 374 Metal Museum Drive.
