The Memphis Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America will honor Loeb Properties president Bob Loeb, the chapter’s 2014 Communicator of the Year, at its monthly luncheon Thursday, Feb. 12, at 11:45 at the University Club, 1346 Central Ave. Cost is free for members and $25 for nonmembers. The Benjamin L. Hooks Institute for Social Change will host Daniel Matlin, a history lecturer at King’s College London and co-winner of the Hooks Institute National Book Award, Thursday, Feb. 12, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the University Center Bluff Room, 499 University St., room 308.
