The Association of African American Museums’ 37th annual conference, “Milestones in History: African American Museums and the Story of African American Progress,” will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4, through Friday, Aug. 7, with most events at The Peabody, 149 Union Ave. The general public is invited to all events. Aldi will host a hiring event for its Memphis-area stores Tuesday, Aug. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Agricenter International, 7777 Walnut Grove Road. Positions include store associates, shift managers and manager trainees. Must be 18 or older to apply. Visit aldi.us.
