Ardent Studios will present “Press/Play: A Celebration of John Fry & John Hampton” Wednesday, April 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Levitt Shell, 1928 Poplar Ave. The show will feature Jon Auer, Ken Stringfellow, Jody Stephens and guests performing Big Star songs, as well as performances by Gin Blossoms and Tora Tora. Bookstock 2015, hosted by the Memphis Public Library & Information Center, will be held Saturday, April 18, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Ave. More than 40 authors will attend the festival, which will also include live music, food trucks, gadget labs and Bookstock Jr. events for kids and teens. Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival, benefiting Porter-Leath, will be held Sunday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Wagner Place and Riverside Drive. The event will include more than 18,000 pounds of crawfish, plus a variety of vendors and live entertainment. Admission is free. Visit porterleath.org.

Mid-South Transplant Foundation, Lifeblood and Be the Match will host the ninth annual Linking Hands for Life Sunday, April 19, in the Overton Square tower courtyard, 2090 Trimble Place. The American Legion will host a town hall meeting to discuss the quality and timeliness of Veterans Affairs health care with local veterans Monday, April 20, at 7 p.m. at American Legion Post 53, 400 Legion Road. Who’s Hiring Memphis Career Fair will be held Tuesday, April 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Memphis Botanic Garden, 750 Cherry Road.
