Whitehaven Healthy Community Day will be held Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to noon at Methodist South Hospital, 1300 Wesley Drive. The event will include a 5K timed run at 8 a.m., two-mile health walk at 8:30 a.m., and health fair from 9 a.m. to noon. Visit methodisthealth.org/healthwalk or call 901-516-3580.

Church Health Center will hold Walking as One, its annual 1.5-mile walk celebrating wellness in action in Memphis, Saturday, April 11, at 9 a.m. at Church Health Center Wellness, 1115 Union Ave. Registration is free; fundraising opportunities are available. Visit walkingasone.

Healthy Memphis Food Festival will be held Saturday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Broad Avenue Arts District Water Tower Pavilion, 2542 Broad Ave. The festival will include healthy food vendors, health screenings and advice, music and more. AAUW-Memphis, the local chapter of the American Association of University Women, will present an Equal Pay Day discussion titled “Graduating Into the Pay Gap: Young Women and Work” Saturday, April 11, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Playhouse on the Square, 66 S. MEMFix: The Pinch will be held Saturday, April 11, at 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. along North Main Street between Jackson and Overton avenues. 20th annual Overton Square Crawfish Festival will be held Saturday, April 11, from noon to 6 p.m. throughout Overton Square and on Madison Avenue from Cooper Street to Morrison Street. The festival will include fresh crawfish and Cajun food cooked on site by Bayou Bar & Grill, dishes from other Overton Square-area restaurants, two stages of music, artists market and more. Rhodes College and the Midtown North neighborhood will present the fourth annual May Day Festival Saturday, April 11, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Rhodes College Learning Center at Shasta Central, 2375 Central Ave. This family-friendly event will include food, music and games.
