Pain Treatment Center to Open Second Locale

Comprehensive Pain Specialists, a national player in the field of medical pain treatment centers from Nashville, has signed a lease for 4,713 square feet in Healthcare Realty Trust’s building at 8000 Wolf River Blvd.
Ford Beach of Beach Investment represented Comprehensive Pain Specialists, and Don Drinkard of CB Richard Ellis Memphis represented the landlord in the negotiations.
CPS already has one location in Bartlett, and this marks its second location in the Memphis area. Beach said CPS will look at other opportunities for a third location, possibly in the Downtown or Medical Center areas in the future.
Comprehensive Pain Specialists has 28 pain treatment centers across the Southeast.
In other news, the former Honey Baked Ham location on Winchester Road has been leased.
Mike's Hotwings has leased the 1,820-square-foot space for a restaurant that will feature wings, pizzas, burgers and more.
The Mike's Hotwings lease means there is only 1,080 square feet available in the center at 6825 Winchester, which was virtually empty when Beach took over leasing assignments roughly six months ago.
“I have taken it from the empty center it was to virtually full in the past six month,” said Beach. “We actually have a lease out for signature on the remaining bay from another broker.”
In other leasing news, a popular fitness center has renewed its lease in East Memphis.
Fitness Revolution, owned by Dexter and Amanda Tension, signed a 39-month lease renewal at Primacy Place. Laura Warren of Loeb Properties secured the lease renewal. The occupancy rate at Primacy Place, located at Ridgeway Road and Primacy Parkway in East Memphis, is now 90 percent. Other tenants include Five Guys Burgers and Fries, the Happy Mexican restaurant and String ‘n Swing, among others.
A designer and manufacturer of furniture has leased space in DeSoto County.
Cambium Business Group, through affiliate Fairmont Designs, which offers casual, contemporary and traditional furniture for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and TV entertainment areas, leased 85,788 square feet at 8835 Commerce Drive, Suite 101 in Southaven. Patrick Burke of CB Richard Ellis Memphis represented Cambium in the lease. Earlier this month, Georgia-based Crown Distributing Co., the parent company of West Tennessee Crown Distributing Co., bought the 227,500-square-foot office and industrial facility at 3485 Tchula Tech Drive from Cambium for $6.4 million.
The Southern Security Federal Credit Union location in Collierville is getting a makeover and expansion.
The new full-service branch at 765 W. Poplar Ave. will total roughly 6,800 square feet and will include a two-lane drive-thru.
Construction is slated to begin in mid-November, and the project is expected to be complete in March.
Tucker Beck of Crye-Leike Commercial handled the lease.
