Justin Fink has joined Diamond Cos., an International truck dealership holding company, as senior vice president, truck sales. In the new role, Fink oversees new and used truck sales, and helps develop programs and processes to grow customer relationships, sales and profits.

Education and work experience: After graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in supply chain management, I worked one year for Accenture, a management consulting firm in Chicago. Then I joined Navistar Inc., the Lisle, Ill.-based maker of International Trucks and IC Bus products. Over the past 10 years, I held several management positions and most recently served as regional vice president for the Southwest.

Family: My wife, Christie, and I have three wonderful children – Stella, Eva and Dane.

Favorite quote: “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.” – Wayne Gretzky

Favorite Movie: “Saving Private Ryan”

The sports team(s) you root for: Michigan State Spartans in every sport, but mostly college football and basketball, and the Detroit Red Wings

What’s playing on your stereo right now? I’m getting into country music.

Activities you enjoy outside of work: I enjoy golf when I can and spending time with my family – especially our annual summer trip to Northern Michigan.

What talent do you wish you had? I really wish that I had the skills to be “handy” so I could repair items around the house and impress Christie!

Who has had the greatest influence on you? My wife, Christie, has been the greatest influence in my life – she is the greatest person I have ever met. She is honest, smart, very attractive inside and out, and loves me and our kids.

What attracted you to Diamond Cos.? I got to know the Diamond Cos. organization while at Navistar and I really respect them. They are the best in the truck business and being a part of that team makes me proud.

What are your goals in your new position? I want to help build the most professional sales organization of any large dealer group in the United States.

What do you consider your greatest accomplishment? Without a doubt my family is my greatest accomplishment – one I share with Christie.

What do you most enjoy about your work? At my core, I really love to compete, and there is a lot of competition in the truck industry.

If you could give one piece of advice to young people, what would it be? You will be successful if you always do what you say you are going to do.
