Next month, a siren song in the form of a 420-plus horsepower engine roar will beckon all manner of car enthusiasts, speed demons and adrenaline junkies to Memphis International Raceway in Millington.
Car enthusiasts will get the opportunity to drive some of the world’s fastest and most elite automobiles when Xtreme Xperience makes a stop at Memphis International Raceway.

Xtreme Xperience, a group that takes a fleet of exotic cars from manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and Mercedez-Benz around the country, will be in Memphis Feb. 7-10 at the raceway.
With the arrival of Xtreme Xperience will be the chance for Memphians to do a few laps around the racetrack in a selection of cars with price tags above $200,000, cruise at speeds that quicken the pulse and experience a rare thrill behind an expensive wheel.
Participants can get behind the wheel themselves, if they want, and tackle the raceway’s 1.8-mile course, which features eight turns and a half-mile straightaway. Or, participants can ride along while a professional driver puts the pedal to the metal.
Either way, they’ll be able to take away mementos of the experience, thanks to in-car video and photos available to buy at the track.
“We’re bringing about $1 million worth of cars to Memphis,” said Joe Moore, vice president of marketing for Xtreme Xperience. “What we offer is for anybody from the average Joe, blue collar guys on up to guys who actually own supercars and anybody who’s ever fantasized about them or had posters of them as a kid – we offer these people the opportunity to come drive the car of their dreams on an actual racetrack. And we encourage them to do it very fast.”
Xtreme Xperience has three objectives – to make available real supercars, on real racetracks with real instruction.
Regarding that third item, participants get an instructional class and a pro driver in the passenger seat offering on-the-spot feedback to improve their driving. Said Xtreme Xperience president Adam Olalde, that instruction helps participants “feel comfortable in the cars, amplify their speeds and ultimately enhance their experience.”
Exotic cars from manufacturers like Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini and Mercedez-Benz will be available to drive next month in Millington.
“Our overall goal is to help drivers push these amazing cars to their limits,” he said.
Xtreme Xperience advertises itself as the perfect gift for someone whose ideal way to spend part of a day is by riding inside sleek vehicles like the Audi R8 or Ferrari F430.
The group touts on its website that it’s comprised of car men and women, professional drivers, pit crew, business-minded people and kids at heart. The founding partners of Xtreme Xperience have done it all, from owning and operating race teams and building cars to the daily rental of luxury and exotic supercars.
Participants can reserve an individual drive, and corporate events are available for groups of up to 250 people. In promotional material for the Memphis event recently posted to Instagram, Xtreme Xperience encouraged Memphians to come out to the event and choose from between a Ferrari F430, Audi R8, Porsche 911 Turbo and a Lamborghini Gallardo.
“This is the kind of thing you do once in a lifetime,” Moore said. “People come out and check something off their bucket list. And it’s grown faster than our wildest dreams.”
