LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) – The Arkansas Department of Health says some products manufactured by a Massachusetts company whose steroid products are linked to a meningitis outbreak were shipped to Arkansas.

State epidemiologist Dr. Nate Smith says no illnesses have been reported in the state in connection with the products from the New England Compounding Center.

The state says it's contacting hospitals and medical centers in the state to make sure they don't use any of the products currently under investigation.

The outbreak of fungal meningitis has killed at least 15 people and sickened more than 200 others in 15 states. Nearly all the victims had received steroid injections for back pain.
