STORRS, Conn. (AP) – Former University of Connecticut basketball star Rudy Gay's name is being added to the "Huskies of Honor" wall at Gampel Pavilion.

Gay, who now plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, will be honored during Saturday's game against No. 2 Syracuse.

Gay played for two years at UConn, and was named a second team All-American by The Associated Press in 2006.

He will become the 18th former men's basketball player to be included on the wall, which pays tribute to the top players, coaches and contributors in UConn men's and women's basketball history.
