Leadership Memphis will host an information session about its fellows program Thursday, Nov. 3, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Junior League, 3475 Central Ave. For more information or to register, email Rod Moses at rmoses@leadershipacademy.org.

The Tennessee Chapter of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art will kickoff its annual meeting Thursday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m. with a lecture and book-signing by architect Russell Versaci, followed by a social at the Madison Hotel, 79 Madison Ave. The meeting will continue Friday, Nov. 4, with these events: a tour of the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, 1 N. WKNO-TV Channel 10 will present a half-hour preview show for the WKNO Holiday Auction Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. The preview will feature some of the items and services up for bid at www.wkno.org during the auction. The online auction, featuring more than 150 items, will run Thursday, Nov. 3, through Nov. 30. All proceeds will benefit WKNO. Bidders who are unable to bid online can call 452-3344.

The 14th annual Indie Memphis Film Festival will be held Thursday, Nov. 3, through Sunday, Nov. 6, with screenings at Playhouse on the Square, 66 S. The University of Memphis College of Communication and Fine Arts will recognize filmmaker and writer William Bearden with its 2011 Distinguished Achievement Award in Creative and Performing Arts Friday, Nov. 4, at 11:30 a.m. at the Rendezvous, 52 S.
