Hafner Named Director of Legislation for Haslam

NASHVILLE (AP) – Gov. Bill Haslam has announced Leslie Hafner as his new director for legislation to handle General Assembly business for the administration.

Hafner has been deputy director since February.

She succeeds Dale Kelley, who is returning to West Tennessee to handle special projects for the governor's office.

Hafner also served in former Gov. Don Sundquist's administration, specializing in education initiatives.
