Methodist South Hospital will hold a lunch and learn titled “Women’s Gynecological Health” Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in meeting room A of the hospital, 1300 Wesley Drive. Free health screenings begin at 11 a.m. and the lecture will be given by Dr. Stephen Ehiremen. Registration is required as seats are limited. Methodist North Hospital will hold a hip and knee replacement class Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon at the hospital, 3960 New Covington Pike. The class is free but space is limited. To reserve a seat, call 516-5639.

The Memphis Investors Group will host Robert Shemin, who will discuss how to make money in today’s market, Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Memphis Hilton, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd. An early bird session will be held at 6 p.m. Admission is free for first-time visitors. For more information, call 414-2729.

The Memphis Central Rotary Club will meet Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at Chickasaw Country Club, 3395 Galloway Ave. Michelle Fowlkes, executive director of the Shelby Crime Commission, will speak about the Operation Safe Community initiative. Harrah’s Tunica Casino will present Bunco for a Cure to benefit Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at Harrah’s Convention Center. Participants must be 21 years old and a donation of $25 is requested. The donation includes appetizers, two drink tickets, a door prize ticket and a chance to bid on items in a silent auction.
