Omni Visions Deal Headlines Leasing Activity

Omni Visions Inc. recently signed a new lease at Kirby Gate Business Campus, 2725 Kirby Parkway, for 3,523 square feet.
Greg deWitt, vice president of the Memphis office of Grubb & Ellis Co., represented the landlord, while Eric Fuhrman, broker with Investec Realty Services LLC, represented Omni Visions.
Founded in 1991, Omni Visions is a multi-state placement agency that provides services for adults and children, with the motto “everyone deserves a family.”
Omni Visions Inc. has two divisions in Memphis. The other division leased 3,000 square feet at the Bartlett Medical Plaza at 6750 Stage Road, to be occupied next week.
• Investec Realty also closed on a recent five-year-deal with Results Physiotherapy.
The tenant leased 2,260 square feet at Collierville Medical Center. Jon Albright, broker with Investec Realty, represented the landlord, while the tenant represented itself.
• Colliers International announced several lease renewals of late.
Dairy Queen Grill & Chill signed a 3,655-square-foot lease at 4265 Hacks Cross Road. Colliers’ retail team of Andrew Phillips and Ed Thomas represented the landlord, Dr. Olugbenga Faleye, in the 20-year lease.
Prima Escape signed a 6,946-square-foot lease for a three-year term at 2362 N. Germantown Parkway. Prima is a spa offering neuromuscular, therapeutic and relaxation massages and related retail products.
The landlords, Southstar Holdings UNCC LLC and RC Memphis LLC, were represented by Colliers’ Phillips and Thomas. There was no tenant representative in the deal.
Pure Barre signed a 1,600-square-foot lease at with The Desco Group, a commercial real estate development firm. The fitness studio agreed to a 3-year lease at Germantown Crossing, 7685 Farmington Rd. Phillips and Thomas of Colliers represented the tenant, while the landlord represented themselves.
Penn’s Catfish signed a five-year lease in West Memphis, 308 Bancario Road. The landlord, Ardent Service Corp., was represented by Carrick Hill in the 2,857-square-foot deal. Thomas and Phillips were the tenant representatives.
• Loeb Properties Inc. also recently completed a handful of leases.
Kumon Reading & Math Center renewed 1,400 square feet at Erin Way Shopping Center, 4862 Poplar Ave.
In addition, CitiFinancial renewed 1,400 square feet at Kirby Whitten Shops. Aaron Petree, vice president of leasing and management for Loeb, represented the landlord in both transactions.
Subway renewed its 1,625-square-foot lease at Walnut Grove Creek, 14 Timber Creek.
Hot Wings Express also renewed its 1,000-square-foot lease at the Village of Hedgerow Creek, 6761 Shelby Drive.
Chris Heinz, senior property manager, was Loeb’s landlord representative in both deals.
Maria’s Nail Salon also signed a new lease in Trinity Commons, 706 N. Germantown Parkway. Joe Wright, Loeb interim property manager, represented the landlord in the 600-square-foot deal.
• CB Richard Ellis Memphis inked a number of new and renewal deals.
Mid-American Specialties Inc., a promotional products company, has signed a new lease for 10,184 square feet at Appling Center, 7620 Appling Center Drive.
The tenant was represented by associate Bobby Daush of CBRE. The landlord was represented by J. Hickman, leasing associate with Colliers.
The former Smokey Bones restaurant at 6980 Winchester Road has sold for $300,000. Leah Fyfe Stokes, senior associate with CBRE, represented the seller, Orlando, Fla.-based Darden Restaurant Group.
Also, two leases have been renewed at Apple Tree Center.
Silver Spoon renewed its 4,500-square-foot lease and Los Pilares Mexican Restaurant renewed its 3,566-square-foot lease at 6063 Mount Moriah Road Extended.
Tyler Tapley, associate with CBRE, represented the landlord, Apple Tree Investment GP, in both transactions. No outside brokers were involved in either deal.
