Evolve Digital Media has more than doubled its Memphis location at Apple Tree Center in Hickory Hill.

The Memphis-based company expanded its lease from 2,520 to 6,327 square feet at 6073 Mount Moriah Road Extended. Tyler Tapley, associate with CB Richard Ellis Memphis, represented the landlord, Apple Tree Center Partnership.

Evolve Digital Media specializes in scaning company documents – some more than thousands of pages – instead of the client company storing the information, Tapley said.

CBRE’s deals don’t end there.

Regions Bank has renewed its lease on 4,157 square feet at 4615 Quince Road. The tenant was represented by Alex Turley, CBRE senior associate.

Ombudsman Educational Services has signed a new lease on 3,280 square feet at the Galleria, 180 Old Hickory Blvd. in Jackson, Tenn. Turley represented the landlord, Henry Turley Co.

RocketFuel LLC a Web design company, expanded its footprint in Brinkley Plaza, 80 Monroe Ave., by subleasing additional space totaling 1,700 square feet. CBRE associate Grant Ridgway represented the sublessor, Morrow & Associates. Chris Brown, founder of CEF Commercial, represented the sublessee.

Law firm Luxman and Waldman PLLC has signed a new 1,200-square-foot lease at One Memphis Place, 200 Jefferson Ave. Don Drinkard, CBRE senior associate, represented the landlord, GPT Properties Trust.

The Law Office of Lynda Teems has signed a new, 900-square-foot lease at Brinkley Plaza, 80 Monroe Ave. Drinkard represented the landlord, Sanderlin Place GP and Brinkley Plaza Partnership II GP.

Gus’s Fried Chicken has renewed its 1,600-square-foot lease and Cordova Taekwondo has renewed its 1,900-square-foot lease at the Shops of Wolflake, 2965 N. Germantown Road. Tapley represented the landlord, PREF Wolflake Partners, in both deals.

In other commercial leasing news, RE/MAX Elite of Memphis has a handful of commercial leases to report.

Jordan Tires signed a five-year lease for 4,250 square feet of space at 1694 Getwell Road.

The wholesale tire company’s owner, Saad Mheira, was unrepresented in the deal.

The landlord, Ziad Ozrail, was represented by J. Max Hamidi, broker at RE/MAX Elite.

El Tenampa signed a three-year lease at 2871 S. Perkins Road for 3,724 square feet.

Owner Javier Orzoco moved the Mexican restaurant and bar from its New York location to Memphis. Hamidi represented the freestanding building’s landlord, Rafat Khmous.

Smooth Wireless signed a 3,323-square-foot lease at 3477 Park Ave., in the strip center at the corner of Highland Street and Park Avenue, anchored by a Shell gas station.

The wireless phone company’s owner, Mo Ibrahim, was unrepresented in the five-year deal. Hamidi represented the landlord, Park Ave. Food Mart.

“From the tenant’s perspective, they have been waiting, they think activities are picking up and they feel like a lot of positive things are happening,” Hamidi said. “The landlords are giving special deals for the square footage; (the tenants) thought these were the best deals and the best time to do it.”

In addition, Domino’s Pizza recently signed a 10-year lease at 460 Church Road in Southaven for 1,225 square feet.

Bambi Fowler, Utley Properties’ director of marketing/sales and leasing agent, represented the landlord, DeSoto Pointe 1 LLC, which is a partnership of Utley Properties and Trezevant Realty Corp. for Elmore Commons.

Diane Davis Barrentine , president of Davis Pizza Enterprises Inc., is doing business as Domino’s Pizza. Barrentine was represented by Elizabeth J. Randall, president of Oxford, Miss.-based Randall Commercial Group LLC.

Domino’s strategic location on the western end-cap of Elmore Commons at DeSoto Pointe will make pick-up, delivery and drive-through convenient for its customers, Fowler said.
