Youth Villages Names Rutschman Director of Communications

Echelle Lane Rutschman has been named director of communications at Youth Villages. Rutschman joins Youth Villages after 10 years serving as senior communications officer and system director of corporate communications at Baptist Memorial Health Care Corp.

At Youth Villages, she will be responsible for national communication strategies as well as external and internal communications.

Prior to her work at Baptist, Rutschman was marketing communications manager at ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She also has served on the board of directors for the Memphis Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and the Memphis Advertising Federation.

The Memphis law firm of McNabb, Bragorgos, & Burgess PLLC has named Lori J. Keen and Pam Warnock Green members. Also, Scott R. McCullough has joined the firm as an associate.

Lexi Harris has been named the area director of mall marketing at Oak Court Mall and Wolfchase Galleria by Simon Property Group Inc. Harris will create, develop and implement the overall strategic marketing direction of the shopping centers in order to meet corporate and property business and marketing objectives. Harris previously served as the guest services manager at Wolfchase Galleria.

Diversity Memphis has named the five honorees for its fourth annual Humanitarian Awards Dinner, which will be Tuesday at The Peabody hotel. They are Dr. Alim Khandekar, the Rev. Samuel B. Kyles, Teresa C. Sloyan, the Rev. Craig Strickland and Dr. Lawrence Wruble. The honor recognizes individuals in the community who serve as examples of personal integrity and community leadership and who reflect the goals of the organization.

Matt Coulter and Roy Lamica of Allen & Hoshall have passed their Professional Engineering exam. Coulter is a mechanical engineer. His responsibilities include the design of HVAC and mechanical systems in health care and institutional projects. Lamica is responsible for project management and plan production.

Hal Warfield has been appointed to the position of account executive at ADC Integrated Systems Inc. Jon Wrye has been hired as a programmer.

Benjamin J. Buffington has been elected the 2009-2010 president of the Phoenix Club Inc. The 2009-2010 officers are Andrew Phillips, executive vice president of fundraising; Nathan Walters, vice president of membership; Josh Shipley, vice president of Old Timers; Battle Williford, vice president of programming and recruitment; Brian Cohn, treasurer; Franklin Childress, assistant treasurer; Gaines Conaway, secretary; Forrest Aven, chaplain; and Oscar Atkinson, public relations chairman. Members of the board of directors are Jack Phillips, Ward Robinson, Zac McRae, Curt Griffin, Graham Askew and Field Norris.

Lavisha Butler and Vernetta Whitley have joined BenchMark at Southwind LLC Realtors. Both will specialize in residential properties in the Mid-South and the surrounding areas.

Charlotte Loines and Veronica Moore have joined BankTennessee as mortgage loan specialists. Kyle Porter, Patricia Randle and Karen Eaker have joined as mortgage loan officers. Gregory Ellenburg has joined as a sales manager of the mortgage department.

Cynthia Alexander has been appointed as team leader of the Community Living program of Shelby Resident and Vocational Services Inc. Alexander has been an employee of SRVS for 25 years and was formerly the director of one of the program’s divisions. In her new position, Alexander will oversee 77 homes for SRVS individuals.
