Peeples Promoted to Administrator At Methodist Alliance Health Services

Trip Peeples has been promoted to administrator for Methodist Alliance Health Services' Home Medical Equipment and Infusion division.

Peeples has been with Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare for seven years, most recently serving as corporate director of finance and reimbursement and interim chief financial officer for Methodist Extended Care Hospital.


Patrick T. Burnett and Christopher C. Lamberson have been promoted to members of Glankler Brown PLLC. Burnett concentrates his practice in civil and criminal litigation, and Lamberson focuses his practice in corporate and business transactions and real estate and secured lending. Both are members of the Memphis, Tennessee and American Bar Associations. In the March 12 edition of Newsmakers, Burnett and Lamberson were misidentified as new hires to the firm. The Daily News regrets the error.


Shoemaker Financial advisers Patsy Jones, Paul Rich and David Rochester have achieved Senate level and Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). Jason Herrington, Bill Regenold, Jim Whitehead and Chris Williams also have achieved MDRT. Ed Gillentine has achieved Pinnacle Level, which is for high performers in their third year.


William D. Powell III of Knoxville and James L. Vaden of Cookeville, Tenn., were the recipients of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center's College of Dentistry 2008 Outstanding Alumni Awards. Powell served on the dental school faculty at UTHSC from 1969 to 1970. Vaden began teaching part time in the UTHSC Department of Orthodontics in 1980, where he is currently professor and chair.

                    

Cannon Wright Blount, an accounting and consulting firm, has hired Cathy Parker Russell as a senior tax accountant, Stephanie Livingston as a tax manager, Louis Stifter as a staff accountant and Jessica Cutter as a tax accountant.


Joel A. Hertz has joined Crye-Leike Realtors as an affiliate broker with the company's Quail Hollow branch. Hertz is a licensed associate in Tennessee, assisting real estate buyers and sellers in and around Shelby County. He specializes in residential real estate. He is a member of the Memphis Area, Tennessee and National Associations of Realtors.


Dr. Jerome Thompson has been selected to participate on the Lay Review Committee of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He will be one of 27 members of the committee, whose responsibilities include reviewing and debating grant requests from researchers. Thompson is the chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center's UT Medical group.


John N. Laughlin has been named a partner at Summit Asset Management LLC, where he is a financial adviser and portfolio manager providing custom solutions for families and businesses. Laughlin is a member of the company's Investment Committee, which sets the investment policy of the firm. He has been with Summit since 2001.


Memphis-based Davidson Hotel Co. has promoted six general managers to head new properties in its portfolio. The general managers and their properties are Marisa Serrano, Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter; Michael Sanders, Hilton San Antonio Airport; Mark Herron, Cleveland Embassy Suites; Nanci Haley, Hilton Gainesville (Fla.); Mansour Njie, Pittsburgh Embassy Suites; and Kelly Spinski, Marriott Kansas City Country Club Plaza.


Five attorneys with Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell PLC have been recognized in Law & Politics magazine's list of "Super Lawyers" in Tennessee. Jerry D. Kizer Jr. was named among the Top 100 lawyers in the state. Thomas H. Rainey, Russell E. Reviere, William C. Bell Jr. and Marty R. Phillips all were named to the 2007 Super Lawyers list.


Carlisle Corp. has hired Doug Snead as principal broker and Mike Parker as Realtor associate for One Beale Realty. Snead has 15 years of experience in new construction management, new construction on sales sites and brokerage. Parker previously spent five years with Henry Turley Realtors, where he had been listed to the Memphis Area Association of Realtors' Multi-Million Dollar Club since 2003.
