Kevin Todd has been named chief financial officer at Methodist North Hospital.
Todd joined Methodist Healthcare in 1996 and has held various positions in corporate accounting and financial analysis. He previously served as director of finance at Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center from 2002 to 2005 before becoming the CFO at Methodist South Hospital in 2005.
Todd has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Union University and a master's degree in business administration in finance from the University of Memphis.
Dr. George G. Mayzell has joined Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital as chief medical officer. Mayzell earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, and recently completed his internal medicine residency at the University of South Florida.
He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Physicians.
Nancy Meyer has been hired at The UCL Financial Group LLC as a market support representative in the Employee Benefits division.
Previously, Meyer worked in education as a preschool teacher and teachers' aide.
Bob Browder has joined Edward M. Neal CPA as tax manager and a business and individual adviser.
Chad Gilbert has joined Obsidian Public Relations as an account executive.
Gilbert earned a bachelor's degree in public relations and advertising from the University of Alabama and most recently served as an associate account executive at McNeely Piggott & Fox Public Relations in Nashville.
Russell E. Reviere and John D. Burleson of Rainey, Kizer, Reviere & Bell PLC have been selected for inclusion in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America. Reviere practices insurance law, and Burleson concentrates his practice in workers' compensation law.
Mike Brotherton has been promoted controller at Counterpart Communication Design. Brotherton joined Counterpart in October as a bookkeeper. Prior to this position, Brotherton served as full-charge bookkeeper and business manager for Lisa Kurts Gallery Inc.
Marianne Minton, Jay Philpott and Jerry Conway have joined the Advancement Division at the University of Memphis. Minton is the director of annual giving.
Previously, she was the annual fund manager for the Richmond Symphony in Richmond, Va. Philpott is the director of development for the Fogelman College of Business & Economics.
Philpott formerly served as director of admissions for St. George's Independent School. Conway has been hired as business officer. Prior to this position, Conway served as a budget analyst for the university's athletic department.
Stefanie Rawlinson has joined the staff of Weichert Realtors-Chapman & Associates as a processing manager. Prior to this position, Rawlinson worked as a financial planner and spent four years as a real estate office manager.
Crye-Leike Realtors broker Patty Rainey has been awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Realtor of the Year award. She is in the Crye-Leike Multi-Million Dollar Club and MAARket Master Toastmasters. Rainey is also an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI).
David F. Leake, an attorney at The Winchester Law Firm, has been named to the 2007 Mid-South Super Lawyers listing.
Leake is a senior partner at the firm and practices in the area of real estate.
Landra Pryor, a broker with Crye-Leike Realtors, has obtained her Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) designation. Pryor is a licensed broker in Tennessee and Mississippi and specializes in residential real estate with a focus on first-time homebuyers. She is an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI).
