The University of Memphis will host a five-part series titled “Let’s Talk About It: Jewish Literature–Identity and Imagination” today through Dec. 4 in Room 226 of the University of Memphis McWherter Library. The sessions will be held Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today, Sept. 4, Oct. 2, Oct. 30 and Dec. 4. The series, which discusses Jewish literature, is free and will be led by Dr. David Patterson. Les Passees will host its second Family Night event Friday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Golf & Games Family Park, 5484 Summer Ave. A portion of the wristband sales will go to Les Passees, which provides advocacy and support to children and families in Memphis.
