The Engineers’ Club of Memphis Inc. will hold its weekly luncheon today at noon at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Bob Sweeney will speak on the topic “Greece, Origin of the Olympics.” Cost is $12.

The Memphis Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals will meet today at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Select East, 5795 Poplar Ave. The program is titled “A Guide to a Great Interview.” Cost is $20 to attend. The Law Alumni Dinner will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., will be the keynote speaker when the University of Memphis’ Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law Alumni Chapter honors four of the legal community’s “Pillars of Excellence.” Seats are $75 per person, $600 for a table of eight and $35 for members of the class of 2008. The Elvis Film Festival will be held Tuesday at Malco’s Studio on the Square, 2105 Court St. Fans can choose from the line-up of “King Creole,” “G.I. Blues,” “Blue Hawaii,” “Girls!Girls!Girls!” and “Paradise, Hawaiian Style.” Tickets are $5 per film. To buy tickets and to view show times, visit www.malco.com.

The Public Relations Society of America Memphis Chapter will hold a luncheon Wednesday at 11:45 a.m. at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. The luncheon will include a panel discussing the topic “One Size Doesn’t Fit All…Reaching Diverse Audiences.” The event is free for PRSA members, $25 for nonmembers and $15 for students.
