Public access TV show fulfilling wishes

Anner Echols' dream is to help make other people's dreams become a reality. And that's exactly what she's aiming to do in a new public access television show that began airing Friday on Comcast Channel 17 at 9 p.m.

All roads lead somewhere. And in Fayette County, they are leading to more growth, especially if four separate highway projects come to fruition.

Crye-Leike's Truong Receives Broker's License

The Tennessee Real Estate Commission (TREC) has announced that David N. Truong from Crye-Leike's Quail Hollow office, 6525 Quail Hollow Road, has successfully passed the real estate broker licensure exam and has received his broker's license. Truong completed strict experience and education requirements, including 120 classroom hours of real estate education. He has been a real estate agent for four years in and around Shelby and DeSoto counties, where he specializes in all areas of real estate sales.

The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art hosts "Marti Gras," a tribute to Creole culture, art and food, today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 1934 Poplar Ave. The event includes a tour of Maritza Davila's exhibit "Cityscapes and Country Views: America through Prints 1900-1955" at 7 p.m. Admission is free for members and $6 for non-members.
