The Memphis Public Library and Information Center and Memphis Animal Services (MAS) hold the second annual Memphis Animal Appreciation Day Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Ave. Dogs will be available for adoption at the event. A free seminar "Caring for Your New Pet" also will be offered. For more information, call 362-5310.
