Chris Meyer has reached his 20th anniversary at Crye-Leike Realtors as a licensed sales associate. Meyer is a Life Member of both the Memphis Area Association of Realtors and the Crye-Leike Multi-Million Dollar Clubs. He is a licensed affiliate broker in Tennessee and Mississippi, specializing in residential real estate with a focus on new home construction and relocation.
The Memphis Regional Chamber has hired Brooke Tweddell as vice president of marketing and communications. Tweddell will be responsible for all aspects of the chamber’s research, marketing, advertising, public relations and communications programs. Previously, she held the vice president position at two major Memphis advertising firms, and owned and operated a small, nationally ranked advertising agency for more than 13 years.
The Mid-South Chapter of The American Association of Neuroscience Nurses has been awarded the Outstanding Chapter of the Year award.

Tansil is a senior level executive with more than 25 years of experience in business development, client relations, business team development and account management for environmental and engineering firms.
Beale Street Caravan Inc. has named two new members to its board of directors: Paul Chandler, founding partner of Resource Entertainment Group, and Brian Sullivan, principal of carpenter | sullivan | sossaman. Beale Street Caravan produces a weekly, one-hour radio program featuring live recordings of musicians performing Memphis music.
Roger N. Johnson has joined Ballet Memphis as director of development. Johnson will oversee all programs to increase support for Ballet Memphis among individuals, charitable foundations and others, as well as manage the development office staff and budgets. Previously, Johnson was a major gifts officer at United Way of King County (Wash.), the top fundraising United Way in the country.
Dr. Stacy C. Smith has joined Memphis Heart Clinic as a cardiologist. Smith is board-certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. She has a special interest in heart disease and women. She is licensed in Tennessee and Mississippi, and she earned her medical degree at the University of Southern California School of Medicine. Smith completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Wes Boston has joined Germantown-based Unity Hospice Care as director of information technology. Boston will be responsible for all computer hardware, software and Web management.
The Memphis Youth Coalition has announced its new board of directors: Assistant Shelby County District Attorney General Tracye Jones, Shelby County Board of Commissioners member James Harvey Sr., Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs LLP attorney Odell Horton Jr. and LaDell Beamon, president of Heal the Hood Foundation.
Dr. Paul Hill, a leading specialist in geriatric psychiatry, will join the medical staff at Lakeside Behavioral Health System. Hill is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychosomatic Medicine. In 1994, Hill was honored with the Church Health Center’s Good Samaritan Award, and more recently, he received CHC’s Outstanding Volunteer award.
Howard Stovall has been named to the International Association of Corporate Entertainment Producers’ board of directors and to that board’s executive committee. Stovall has served as managing partner of Resource Entertainment Group since its founding in 2004.
Peggy Schrecker of CB Richard Ellis Memphis LLC and Joyce Carter of Healthcare Realty Trust have earned Certified Property Managers (CPM) designations from the Memphis chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). CPM designations are for individual real estate and asset managers working with large portfolios of all property types.
