Sheriffs Office Graduates Reserve Deputies

Sheriffs Office Graduates Reserve Deputies The Shelby County Sheriffs Office graduated the following reserve deputies, who received training through the Memphis Police Department Training Academy between July and December: Mark Anthony Billingsley, Kristoffer D. Billington, Terry Gene Brewer, John Albert Emry, Andrew Stewart Gardner, Michael Bernard Golden, Willie Lewis, David Michael Madeksho, Joseph William Malinowski, Peter Marshall Myles, Devendra K. Patel, Leland B. Peet, Ronald Vincent Perrone, Brian Christophe Person, Ricky Jerome Pollard, Steven Kirk Scott, James William Taube, Rickey Dean Thornton, Sean Cory Tutor and Rufus Lee Vester. Patricia Emory-Walker joined archer-malmo as an account supervisor, specializing in direct and database marketing for several of the agencys leading clients. Emory-Walker previously served as a database marketer for Acxiom. She has more than nine years of marketing experience. The Memphis chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Tennessee elected the following board members: Edward Hargraves, partner with Askew, Hargraves, Harcourt & Associates LLC; Yousef Saleh, chief structural engineer with Pickering Firm Inc.; Bernard Zawada, principal with Burr & Cole Consulting Engineers Inc.; and immediate past president James Collins, regional vice president of Kimley-Horn and Associates Inc. Michelle Couch joined Union Planters Bank as vice president and relationship manager for the business banking group. Couch will work in the retail team that includes the Wolfchase, Frayser, Raleigh, Trinity Commons and Cordova branches. She has 10 years of banking experience. Shelby County Sheriff Mark Luttrell honored the following Shelby County deputies who recently won awards in law enforcement pistol team matches: Inspector Bill Allen, Chief Joe Ruff, Officer Kevin Helms, Officer Charles Land and Sgt. Carroll Owen. The Memphis chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Tennessee elected the following officers: Richard Bursi, president and chief executive officer of OGCB Inc., president; John Perry, associate vice president of Buchart-Horn Inc., vice president; David Canup, director of electrical division for Ellers, Oakley, Chester & Rike Inc., secretary; and Steve Hill, vice president of Barge, Waggoner, Sumner & Cannon Inc., treasurer. Aleshia Hall-Campbell joined the University of Tennessee Center for Health Services Research as coordinator for the Tennessee Consortium for Public Health Workforce Training. Hall-Campbell earned a masters degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center School of Public Health and is pursuing a doctorate from the University of Mississippi. Sherly Vargheese was promoted to executive housekeeper for Grand Casino Tunica. Vargheese will be responsible for managing housekeeping at Grand Hotel, Veranda Hotel, Terrace Hotel, Grand RV Park and the convention center. She joined Park Place Entertainment in 1998, and previously worked in housekeeping management for Sheraton and Hollywood casinos. She earned a bachelors degree from the University of Kelala, India. Teresa Moore was named the new lead program analyst in the programs management branch for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District. Moore has worked for the district since 1985 and has served as program analyst team member on several study and project teams.
