Memphis videoconferencing company, Interactive Solutions Inc

Dr. Steven Bares, Memphis Biotech Foundation president and executive director, is the keynote speaker at the Memphis Chapter of the Public Relations Society of Americas meeting at 11:45 a.m. today at the University of Memphis Fogelman Center. Bares will discuss how the biotech foundation hopes to transform the former Baptist medial facilities Downtown into a thriving community home to fledgling biotechnology companies. Memphis videoconferencing company, Interactive Solutions Inc., added a new company to its client list. ISI installed and provides services for telemedicine systems for the Mid-South Telehealth Consortium. The systems, which merge video technology with medical computer applications, are used to provide diagnosis and treatment for patients who might be miles away from medical specialists. The systems link Le Bonheur Childrens Medical Center, the Regional Medical Center of Memphis and the University of Tennessees Health Science Center to rural community hospitals. ISI also provides telemedicine services for the Community Hospital Consortium and several other health care providers. Memphis-based Software Earnings Inc. is moving its headquarters to Tournament Trails, Kemmons Wilson Cos. And Weston Cos. announced. SEI will lease about 19,000 square feet in Building 1, an expansion of about 7,000 square feet from its current location at 60 Germantown Court in Cordova. The company will move in October. SEI provides financial banking institutions with software applications for check processing and implementation strategies for image technology. Some of SEIs clients include First Tennessee Bank, Bank of America, Wells Fargo Bank, AmSouth Bank, Deutsche/GPS, BBT and U.S. Federal Reserve. Building I in Tournament Trails is 72,966 square feet and is now 61 percent leased. The Memphis Area Technology Council is planning committee alignment meetings for people interested in getting involved with the MATC. Meetings are from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 6 at the Memphis Regional Chamber, 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 13 at the MRC, and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 14 at the Crescent Center, Suite 500.
