The seminar offers one hour of continuing legal education credit. The presenter is Betsy Warren Wilson, who will discuss topics such a dealing with clients and forms, recent changes in the law and how to get paid. The cost before Monday is $25 for MBA members and $30 for nonmembers. After Monday, the cost is $30 for MBA members and $35 for nonmembers. The Memphis Bar Association will present a bankruptcy seminar on June 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at MBA headquarters. The seminar offers six hours of continuing legal education credit. The presenters include Paulette Delk, professor at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law; Thomas Fulton of Humphreys, Dunlap, Welford, Acuff & Stanton; U.S. trustee Ellen Vergos; Barbara Zoccola of the U.S. Attorneys office; U.S. District Judge Bernice B. Donald; Roger Stone of Stone, Higgs & Drexler; Steve Douglass of Apperson Crump Duzane & Maxwell; Chapter 13 trustee George Stevenson; and Tom Fila of Cohen & Fila. The cost before Wednesday is $120 for MBA members and $125 for nonmembers. After Wednesday, the cost is $125 for MBA members and $130 for nonmembers. The Memphis Bar Association will sponsor a trial practice workshop on June 21 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at MBA headquarters. The workshop, previously scheduled for May 17, will offer three hours of continuing education credit. The presenters are Ronald D. Krelstein, Tim Edwards of Glassman, Jeter, Edwards & Wade P.C. and Circuit Court Judge Robert L. Childers. The cost before June 19 is $60 for MBA members and $70 for nonmembers. Glankler Brown PLLC has announced that Larry H. Montgomery, Jeffery A. Jarratt and William L. Bomar have become members of the firm and that Kevin C. Cox and Howard L. Cleveland IV have become associates of the firm.
