The Rotary Club of Memphis Central will meet Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Tracy Chism will speak about the Gift of Life program, which provides heart surgeries to children in Third World countries. Habitat for Humanity of Greater Memphis will host “Stock the ReStore,” a two-day donation drive, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the new ReStore, 7130 Winchester Road. The goal of the donation drive is to increase the ReStore’s inventory before the store’s grand opening June 9. If donors have large items they cannot bring in themselves, pickups are available by calling Joe Davidson at 737-8673. Donations also are accepted on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. More information is available at www.memphisrestore.com.

The Salvation Army Annual Dinner will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Hilton Memphis, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd. The dinner is the annual fundraiser for Salvation Army. NFL player Michael Oher will speak. Cost is $125. For tickets, call 260-9120 or visit www.salvationarmymemphis.org.

The Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County will host “Paws for Art,” an art exhibit and fundraiser featuring more than 40 artistic creations by Memphis-area artists, on display Friday through May 26 at Gallery Fifty Six, 2256 Central Ave. A reception and live auction will follow May 26 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at WaterWorks, 741 S. Saint Francis Hospital will offer free melanoma screenings Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon at the hospital, 5100 Poplar Ave. Space is limited. To schedule an appointment, call 765-1849.

Allison Rodgers Photography will host “Love on Lucy,” a fundraiser for Lucy Krull, who has been diagnosed with a form of brain cancer, Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 9150 Pigeon Roost, Olive Branch, Miss. For $100, donors will receive a 15-minute photo shoot by Allison Rodgers, a free 5-inch-by-7-inch image and refreshments. All funds raised will go to the Krull family.
