The Institute for Supply Management will host the Eighth Annual NAPM – Memphis Inc. Golf Tournament today at 8 a.m. at Memphis National Golf Club, 10135 National Club Drive. Cost is $140 per player. Rhodes College will host a lecture by Dr. Charles Zelden today at 4 p.m. in Blount Auditorium of Buckman Hall on campus. He will discuss “Bush v. Gore: Exposing the Hidden Crisis in American Democracy.” The lecture is free and open to the public.

The Future’s Fashion Entrepreneurial Women will conduct a 30-week after-school program from Sept. 28 through May 13. Christian Brothers University will host guest speaker Dr. Jose A. Velazquez, director of the National Council of La Raza, Tuesday at 6 p.m. in Spain Auditorium. Velazquez will speak on issues related to the Hispanic community including health care, immigration reform and education. CBU also will host the National Hispanic Month Forum Wednesday from noon to 12:45 p.m. in the Sabbatini Lounge. Both events are free and open to the public.
