The Mid-South Area Business Travel Association will hold its monthly luncheon today from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Select East Memphis, 5795 Poplar Ave. Emily Capadalis of First Tennessee Bank’s Private Client Financial Services Division will speak. The Memphis Music Foundation will present “Back Stage Pass with Rivers Rutherford” today at 6:30 p.m. at the Memphis Music Resource Center, 431 S. Main St., Suite 201. Rutherford has written hit songs for Brooks and Dunn, Tim McGraw, Montgomery Gentry, Gretchen Wilson, Faith Hill and Keith Urban. He will discuss his songwriting process and play a few tunes.
