The Memphis Botanic Garden will host “Tuesdays on the Terrace: Wine Tasting at the Garden” today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Garden, 750 Cherry Road. Hors d’oeuvres by Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse will be offered, along with a wine bar. The cost is $25 for members and $35 for nonmembers. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 636-4131.

The Engineers’ Club of Memphis board will meet today at 5:30 p.m. at 5880 Ridge Bend Road. For more information, e-mail maryc@mscaa.com.

The Memphis Regional Chamber will host a Breakfast Forum Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at The Hilton Memphis, 939 Ridge Lake Blvd. Jerry Collins, president and CEO of Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division, will speak about “EmPowering the City.” The event is $20 for chamber members and $30 for nonmembers. Women on the Move will present “Daiquiris and Daisies” networking event Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at The Crescent Club, 6075 Poplar Ave. Drinks and gourmet hors d’oeuvres will be offered, and live and silent auctions will be held. The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence will host “Researching Grant Funding” Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alliance, 606 S. Mendenhall Road, Suite 108.
