Team in Training will host the first Wedding Crashers fundraiser event to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of the Mid-South Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Jay Etkin Gallery, 409 S. Main St. Guests will get to eat wedding cake and dance to wedding songs. Door prizes and a silent auction will be available. Tickets are $50 and can be bought by calling Chris Albonetti at 825-1159.


The Mid-South Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold a class to certify people in CPR and first-aid training Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Red Cross office, 1400 Central Ave. The cost is $85. To register, call 726-1690 or visit www.midsouthredcross.org and go to the "Get Trained" section.


The Shelby County Charter Amendment Ad Hoc and General Government committees will meet jointly Monday at 9 a.m. in the fourth floor conference room of the Shelby County Administration Building, 160 N. Main St. For more information, call Chief Administrator Steve Summerall at 545-4301.


The Church Health Center will offer an infant massage workshop Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Hope & Healing, 1115 Union Ave. The workshops will continue April 14, May 5 and May 19. The Memphis Public Library and Information Center will host photographer, author and historian Willy Bearden, who will present a photo archive of the historic Victorian Village district, Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library, 3030 Poplar Ave. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 415-2700.


The Memphis Regional Chamber will host its Metro Business Council Breakfast Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at The Crescent Club, 6075 Poplar Ave., ninth floor. The topic is "Economic Outlook for 2008." A panel of experts will address the topic. The cost is $20 for chamber members and $30 for nonmembers. The Mid-South Chapter of the American Red Cross will host a workplace safety seminar Tuesday from 8:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Red Cross office, 1400 Central Ave. The event is free and open to the public. The seminar will address awareness and safety issues in the workplace, including Tennessee Occupational Health Administration standards.
