The Alliance for Nonprofit Excellence will hold a "Researching Grant Funding" workshop today from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the alliance offices, 606 S. Mendenhall Road, Suite 108. The event is $65 for alliance members, $55 for participants in the Program for Nonprofit Excellence and $99 for nonmembers. The Memphis Area Association of Realtors Commercial Council will host a breakfast forum on the changes in the payment-in-lieu-of-taxes program today at 8:30 a.m. at the MAAR offices, 6393 Poplar Ave. The forum is free for MAAR Commercial Council members and $15 for nonmembers. The Memphis chapter of the Public Relations Society of America will hold a luncheon today at 11:45 a.m. at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Harold Graeter, associate executive director of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, will speak. WMC-TV5, The Food Bank and other local organizations will hold the Action News 5 Holiday Food Drive today. Action News team members will broadcast from various locations, urging viewers to donate food.
