The Memphis Regional Chamber will continue the Leadership Luncheon series today from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. John Faraci, CEO of International Paper, is the featured guest. The event is $25 for chamber members and $35 for nonmembers. Call 543-3571 to register.


The Lisa Kurts Gallery will host an opening reception for an exhibit titled "Photomosaics" by Robert Silvers today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the gallery, 766 S. White Station Road. Photomosaics are created by using tiny digital photographs that combine to form a larger image.

The Memphis Chapter of the Recording Academy will host its bi-annual Recording Academy Honors today at 7:30 p.m. at the Memphis Cook Convention Center, 255 N. Main St Booker T. & the MG's, Willie Mitchell and Irma Thomas have been named as recipients of the chapter's Recording Academy Honors 2007.


The Autism Solution Center Inc. will
host its Second 5K Family Fun Run/Walk Saturday at 10 a.m. at H.W. Cox Jr. Park, 440 W. Powell Road in Collierville. Call 758-8288 or visit www.autismsolutioncenter.com.


The National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. will present its "Sizzling Sensations" Fashion Show Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Grand Ballroom of The Peabody Hotel, 149 Union Ave. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased by calling 268-2321 or 345-3600.


The Memphis Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and Idlewild Adult Choir will perform works by Bach Sunday at 4 p.m. at Idlewild Presbyterian Church, 1750 Union Ave. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the MSO Box Office, Idlewild Presbyterian or at the door.


The Engineers' Club of Memphis will meet Monday at noon at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Paul Gavin with Contact Concrete Products will speak on "A New Generation of Steel Pipe." The event is $12, and includes lunch. No reservations are required.


InMotion Musculoskeletal Institute and Medtronic, with the University of Memphis FedEx Institute of Technology, will present a Musculoskeletal Lecture Monday at 5 p.m. at the FedEx Institute of Technology, 365 Innovation Drive. Dr. Stephen Li will speak on "Polyethylene: Past, Present & Future of Orthopaedic-Bearing Materials."
