The Engineers' Club of Memphis hosts its weekly meeting and lunch today at noon at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Caroline Oldenburg, development officer at the U of M's Herff College of Engineering, is the guest speaker. Cost is $12 and no reservations are required.

The Memphis Rotary Club will hold its weekly meeting Tuesday at noon at the Memphis Cook Convention Center, 255 N. Main St. Otis Sanford, editor of the Opinions and Editorials section of The Commercial Appeal, is the guest speaker. The event costs $16. For more information, call 526-1318.

The Sales and Marketing Society of the Mid-South will host its monthly luncheon Wednesday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Racquet Club of Memphis, 5111 Sanderlin Ave. Dr. Steven J. Bares, president and executive director of the Memphis Bioworks Foundation, will speak on "Managing Sales and Marketing for a Nonprofit." The Urban Land Institute - Memphis (ULI) will host "Mixed-Use! The Metro Business Council's Round Table Luncheon will be held Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Dixon Gallery and Gardens, 4339 Park Ave. The discussion is titled "Financial Incentives and Tax Credits."
