The Engineers' Club of Memphis hosts its weekly meeting and lunch today at noon at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Caroline Oldenburg, development officer at the U of M's Herff College of Engineering, is the guest speaker. Cost is $12 and no reservations are required.

The Memphis Rotary Club will hold its weekly meeting Tuesday at noon at the Memphis Cook Convention Center, 255 N. Main St. Otis Sanford, editor of the Opinions and Editorials section of The Commercial Appeal, is the guest speaker. The event costs $16. For more information, call 526-1318.
