The Engineers' Club of Memphis is holding its weekly meeting and lunch today at noon at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Greg Key of U.S. Pipe & Foundry Inc. will speak. The event is $12 and no reservations are required.

The City Council Committee biweekly meeting is held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall, 125 N. Main St. The City Council Chamber meeting is held at 3:30 p.m., also at City Hall.

Lifeblood is holding a public blood drive Tuesday from 9:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Shelby County Jury Commission, 157 Poplar Ave.

The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) holds its annual President's Luncheon Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. The event is $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers. The Memphis Regional Chamber hosts a BioWorks Luncheon Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Holiday Inn-University of Memphis, 3700 Central Ave. Dr. Miguel Sanjuan of the Department of Immunology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, will speak on "Spanish Science Comes to Life in Memphis."
